Miss you mom!

It’s an interesting time of year. A day to celebrate the amazing women in our lives. Some we call mom, mom-in-law, grandmother, aunt, friend, the list goes on.

I am so very grateful and blessed to have a beautiful 7 year old girl that calls me mom. She has 78 freckles, a fun smile that fills my heart with joy and tears that can break that heart when hers is hurting. She lives full out and I love who she is today and can’t wait to see what she becomes tomorrow. I know there will be a day that she is out in this world without me navigating it like the champ she is.

I know this all all too well because this marks the 22nd year I don’t get to hug my mom and tell her how much I love her in person. And I know there are others out there wishing for one last moment that will not come. I have a friend who is paying tribute to her grandmother this weekend and another who is saying goodbye to her mother. My heart goes out to them this weekend and to others wishing for motherly moments.

Its a beautiful time of of year and a special time. Thank you to all the “moms” in my life but especially the one who brought me into this world and taught me love, compassion and patience. I miss you and I love you mom. ❤️❤️❤️
